The process of writing a bank cheque / check is very important and here we will tell you the stepwise details with Infographics so that you will be able to create and write down the details in the bank check yourself. The different parts of the world have different ways of banking, but using the check book is common everywhere. The process used worldwide is same and you can refer it here.

Note: Check and Cheque are different in the ways of UK English and US English.

Follow the below steps to create a bank Check with the details

  1. First Write the name of the person or company receiving the check.
  2. Then Fill the Amount in words and alphabets.
  3. On the top right side of the check leaf, write the date of issuing the check.
  4. On the backside of the check leaf, write your name and phone number.
  5. In the last, Sign at the given place on the check.

Important things to keep in mind while you fill up the check leaf

Make sure that you use your own pen while writing the deals. There are large number of cases reported where the receiving party has asked the owner to fill the check with their pen and later they edited the amount after modifying with the pen ink eraser. Use a ball pen to write the check.
